School Management and Leadership (SML) Program
The quest for improving education quality and skills has become a thrust for school institutions. The emphasis of the National Education Policy (NEP 2020) on student learning outcomes and skills as indicators for institutional quality cannot be ignored. The policy has scoped 50 hours of Continuous Professional Development (CDP) for school heads under the National Initiative for School Heads’ and Teachers’ Holistic Advancement (NISHTHA). Therefore, there is a need and scope for the capacity-building of school heads and managers in India.
